HUNTER ENVIRONMENT LOBBY FORUM is meeting at Singleton Senior Citizens Centre, Bathurst St, Singleton 10:30am to 3:30pm, Sunday 2 September, 2007 The topic is: 'Re- Energise The Hunter or Business as Usual?' Climate change is the biggest global problem we face, Hunter coal mines are pushing up Australia's share in that, how can we stop and be positive world leaders? This Forum shows us how to reduce emissions, save the environment, preserve our community and produce more employment at the same time. Dr. Mark Diesendorf of Sustainable Solutions will outline the employment producing solutions to our unsustainable coal addiction. Mark will also have his latest book, ‘Greenhouse Solutions with Sustainable Energy’ for sale at a discount.
